ABOUT US

Joe's journey into building and design began in 1997 in Brownsville, Texas when he was introduced to manual drafting and AutoCAD.  After competing numerous times in district and state vocational competitions (winning first place each time) in architecture and mechanical drawings, he continued his education receiving an Associates degree in graphic design and later a Bachelor's degree in interior design from Texas State University in 2007.

In 2007, Joe began his professional career as a drafter and as a project coordinator for a laboratory counter top company. Shortly after Soltara Design Solutions was conceived when he was hired to design counter tops domestically and internationally for a laboratory company.

After establishing Soltara Design Solutions, Joe was sought after by a facilities company to handle state contract jobs that required reproducing multiple hard copies into AutoCAD drawings.  The success of the project lead to more projects in private and state sectors procuring their existing and proposed facilities.

Then, a job opportunity to design and work with structural engineers opened up.  Joe began designing foundations for track and custom home builders in central Texas.

Through Joe's many years of experience in the building and design field, Soltara Design Solutions approaches each project with four things in mind: trust, honesty, collaboration and communication.
